What We Know

Foundational Facts, Biblically Backed

About God

†He is Eternal. He requires nothing, because He is completely self-sufficient and the source of all things. He has always been, and He will always be. (Ps 90:2; Ex 3:14; Acts 17:24–25; Ps 50:10–12; Rev 1:8; Col 1:16–17)
†He is all-powerful (omnipotent). (Jer 32:17; Job 42:2; Matt 19:26; Rev 19:6)
†He knows everything (omniscient). (Ps 147:5; Isa 46:9–10; 1 John 3:20; Heb 4:13)
†He is everywhere at all times (omnipresent). (Ps 139:7–10; Jer 23:23–24; Prov 15:3)
†He is the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). (Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19; 2 Cor 13:14; John 1:1, 14; Matt 3:16-17; Acts 5:4)
†God is the Living Word, and the Word is God. Jesus Christ—the Son—is the literal "Voice" of God: He was present at the beginning, and it is through Him that the Father spoke the universe into existence. Today, He is the only Mediator and Advocate for us before the Father. (Ps 33:6; Prov 30:4; John 1:1–3, 14; Col 1:15–17; Heb 1:1–3; 1 John 2:1; 1 Tim 2:5; Rev 19:13)
†God is Love. Because He exists eternally as the Trinity in perfect, self-giving fellowship, love is a foundational reality of the universe. Without God and His Word, there is zero biological or evolutionary reason for love to exist—mindless, coercive procreation is the animalistic default for survival, meaning sacrificial love and restraint would actually be a devolution from a purely secular perspective. (Ex 34:6; Jer 31:3; 1 John 4:7–10, 16; John 17:24; John 15:13; Rom 5:8)
†He created the universe by speaking it into existence. Whatever He speaks literally becomes reality, and because His very nature is Truth, He cannot lie. (Gen 1:3; Ps 33:6, 9; Heb 11:3; Num 23:19; Titus 1:2; Heb 6:18; John 14:6)
†He exists outside of time and space, and created them both as a framework for us to exist in. Nothing is required or needed by Him. (Gen 1:1; 1 Kgs 8:27; Isa 57:15; 2 Pet 3:8; Job 22:2–3)

About Us

†He created everything we know because He desired a personal relationship with us. (Gen 3:8; Isa 43:7; Eph 1:4-5; 1 Cor 1:9;1 John 4:19)
†Because true love and a real relationship cannot be forced or pre-programmed, He did not create us as mindless robots; He gave us genuine free will—the capacity to choose to trust Him or reject Him. Because He is completely Holy and we are not, our choice to sin broke the world. The suffering, evil, and decay around us are entirely our fault, never His. (James 1:13; Josh 24:15; Deut 30:19; Matt 23:37; John 7:17; Rev 22:17; 1 John 1:5; Hab 1:13; Isa 6:3; Deut 32:4–5; Isa 59:1–2; Rom 5:12)
†He created us in His image, breathing the breath of life directly into us. We are reflections of Him; anything good in us is from Him reflecting through us. (Gen 1:26–27; Gen 2:7; Jas 1:17; 2 Cor 3:18)
†Our personal relationship with God begins in our mother’s womb. At the moment of conception, our unique DNA is established—we are not "potential" life, we are already fully human, known, and purposefully formed by Him. (Jer 1:5; Ps 139:13–16; Luke 1:41–44; Job 31:15; Isa 44:2, 24; Ps 22:9–10)
†He intentionally created us strictly male and female, and He authored marriage as the foundational building block of human family and society. Marriage belongs exclusively to God—it is a purely Biblical covenant designed to reflect Christ and His Church, and it makes zero logical or biological sense outside of a Scriptural perspective. (Gen 1:27; Gen 2:18–24; Matt 19:4–6; Eph 5:22–32; Mal 2:14–15; Heb 13:4)
†He wrote His moral law onto the human heart, and He actively convicts the world of sin and truth through the Holy Spirit. In believers, the Holy Spirit literally indwells us—acting as our living conscience to separate good from evil, guiding us into all truth, and creating that unmistakable physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual ache whenever we grieve Him by creating distance from God, His Word, and His Will. (John 16:7–13; 1 Cor 3:16; 1 Cor 6:19; Eph 4:30; Ps 32:3–4; Ps 51:8–12; Heb 5:14; Rom 2:14–15; Rom 8:14–16)
†We are NOT God. We do not possess anything on our own, have no power apart from what He gives us, and do not have His perspective. (Ezek 28:2; John 15:5; 1 Cor 4:7; Isa 55:8–9; Job 38:4)
†We are extremely limited compared with God, but have always been set apart from the rest of the universe that He created for us. (Ps 8:3–8; Gen 1:28; Matt 10:31)
†We are responsible for the animals and the rest of His Creation. What happened in the Flood makes this extremely clear: our sin destroyed the earth and the animals as they were, right alongside us. (Gen 1:26, 28; Gen 6:5–7, 11–13; Gen 7:21–23; Rom 8:19–20; 2 Pet 3:5–6)
†Apart from Him, we are fallible, sinners, and liars by default. (Ps 116:11; Rom 3:4, 10–12, 23; Jer 17:9; Ps 51:5)

About the Bible & Our History

†It is His Word, transcribed by chosen men. (2 Tim 3:16; 2 Pet 1:20–21; 2 Sam 23:2)
†It is infallible, the source of ultimate truth. (John 17:17; Ps 119:160; Ps 12:6; Prov 30:5; Matt 24:35)
†It contains everything mankind needs to know, and nothing that it doesn’t. (2 Tim 3:16–17; 2 Pet 1:3; Deut 4:2; Rev 22:18–19)
†It was written by Him for us, and it begins at our beginning, as He has always been. (Rom 15:4; 1 Cor 10:11; Gen 1:1; John 1:1–2)
†It can be understood by the simplest child, yet baffle a Rhodes Scholar; understanding His Word is a matter of the heart (soft and humble vs. hard and proud), not merely of the intellect. (Matt 11:25; 1 Cor 1:18–29; 1 Cor 2:14; 2 Tim 3:15; Heb 3:12–15; Prov 3:5–6)
† The entirety of God’s Creation was “Very Good” until the Fall. It operated in perfect harmony by His direct sustenance—light existed before the sun, mist rose from the ground without rain, and all humans and animals ate only plants. (Gen 1:3–5, 14–19, 29–31; Gen 2:5–6, 15–17)
† The original sin can be distilled to a simple choice and consequence: we trusted a liar over God’s Word. Unrepentant rejection of His Word for the lie is the unforgivable sin, and trusting His Word is the truth we must accept to be saved. "Apples" (we know it was a unique fruit, not a modern variety), serpents (Satan), blame, trees, and eating can all cause needless confusion if we allow them to distract from that core exercise of our free will—the choice to trust God or trust a lie. (Gen 2:17; Gen 3:1–6; Rev 12:9; 2 Cor 11:3; John 8:44; John 3:18, 36; Heb 11:6; Matt 12:31–32; John 16:8–9)
† Once we committed the original sin, the consequence took effect: God placed creation under the Second Law of Thermodynamics (the law of entropy and the bondage of corruption), introducing death, pain, sorrow, painful toil, struggle, thorns, and the decay of all matter, including us. (Gen 3:16–19; Rom 5:12; Rom 8:20–22; Ps 102:25–26; Heb 1:10–12)
† Adam and Eve were perfect before the Fall; their DNA was completely uncorrupted and contained all of the genetic information to produce the vast array of humans we see today. (Gen 1:31; Deut 32:4; Gen 3:20; Eccl 7:29; Ps 139:14–16; Acts 17:26)
† There is only one biological race: the Human race, descending from Adam and later through Noah’s three sons. When post-Flood humanity rebelled against God's command to fill the earth by uniting in pride at Babel, God judged their rebellion by confusing their single language into distinct language families. As families dispersed and isolated across the globe, the rich genetic diversity already front-loaded into human DNA naturally sorted into the distinct physical traits and people groups we see today—proving that all people are one blood, and racism is both biblically and scientifically bankrupt. (Acts 17:26; Gen 9:18–19; Gen 10:32; Gen 11:1–9; Deut 32:8; 1 Sam 16:7; Acts 2:4–11; Gal 3:28; Rev 5:9; Rev 7:9)
† God can make animals talk, but we are not merely talking animals. (Num 22:28–30; 2 Pet 2:16; Gen 3:1; Rev 12:9; Rev 8:13; Gen 1:26–27; Eccl 3:21)
† We are not evolving; we are devolving biologically and genetically along with everything else. Early humanity married close relatives with zero genetic harm because their DNA came uncorrupted from God's hand, whereas 2,500 years of accumulated post-Fall mutations required God to outlaw close-relative marriage in the Law of Moses—alongside the dramatic post-Flood drop in human lifespans. (Gen 4:17; Gen 20:12; Lev 18:6–18; Gen 5:1–32; Gen 11:10–32; Ps 90:10; Isa 24:4–6; Rom 8:21–22)
† We are not getting smarter; we are standing on the shoulders of giants (accumulating recorded data while losing raw biological capacity). On Day 6, Adam immediately stepped into agronomy and comprehensive taxonomy—naming every kind of beast and bird; his first son built a city, and pre-Flood humanity mastered musical instrumentation and simultaneous bronze and iron metallurgy before Babel's megastructure engineering. Noah was smarter than Aristotle, Aristotle was smarter than Franklin, Franklin was smarter than Tesla, and Tesla was smarter than Elon. (Gen 2:15, 19–20; Gen 4:17, 21–22; Gen 6:14–16; Gen 11:3–6; Job 28:1–11; 1 Kgs 4:29–34; Eccl 1:9–10; Dan 12:4)
† Science, logic, and reason come from the Bible. Without an unchanging, rational Creator who upholds the universe by consistent laws—and who made our minds in His image—we would have no basis for reason, logic, science, knowledge, or understanding. True observational science aligns perfectly with the Bible. (Gen 8:22; Jer 33:25; Ps 19:1–2; Prov 1:7; Prov 2:6; Rom 1:19–20; Col 2:3; 1 Tim 6:20)
† Only God, the Cherubim, Adam, Eve, and Satan are known to have seen the Tree of Life and its fruit, or the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and its fruit. But all believers will see and partake of the Tree of Life one day. (Gen 2:9, 16–17; Gen 3:1–6, 22–24; Rev 2:7; Rev 22:2, 14)

About Redemption (The Resolution)

†Because we possess nothing on our own and cannot reverse the consequence of sin or fix our own corruption, God provided the only possible solution Himself. (Rom 5:6, 8; Eph 2:1–5; Isa 59:16; Gen 22:8)
†The same Eternal Word who spoke the universe into existence stepped into the framework of time and space He created, taking on human flesh as Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Mic 5:2; Isa 7:14; Isa 9:6; John 1:1–3, 14; Phil 2:5–8; Gal 4:4; 1 Tim 3:16)
†Where the first Adam chose to trust a liar over God's Word—bringing sin, entropy, and death into the world—Jesus came as the Last Adam, living in perfect, sinless obedience to the Father's Word. (Isa 53:9; Rom 5:12–19; 1 Cor 15:21–22, 45–47; Heb 4:15; 1 Pet 2:22)
†He willingly took the full consequence of our choice upon Himself on the cross, shedding His blood to pay the debt of our sin, and conquered death by rising bodily from the grave on the third day. (Isa 53:4–6; 2 Cor 5:21; 1 Pet 2:24; 1 Cor 15:3–4; Rom 4:25)
†Salvation is the exact reversal of our original failure in the Garden: it is simply choosing to trust God's Word again—believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and receiving His free gift of righteousness by faith, not by our own effort. (Gen 15:6; Hab 2:4; Eph 2:8–9; Rom 10:9–10, 17; Acts 16:30–31; John 5:24)
†One day soon, He will return to abolish the curse completely. He will deliver all of creation from the bondage of entropy and corruption, raise believers with incorruptible, glorified bodies, and restore the unbroken fellowship of Eden forever in the New Heaven and New Earth. (Rom 8:21; 1 Cor 15:42–44, 51–57; Rev 21:1–5; Rev 22:1–5)
